Welding Applications:
For the welding process to be successful, the two parts being welded must be exposed to the heat source generated by the arc at temperatures up to 3000°C. The quality of the weld depends on the precise control of the arc and the current that creates it. The current sensor helps control the quality of the weld by measuring the current.

Importance of Current Sensors:
Welding
The quality of a weld depends on the precise control of the arc and the current that creates it. The accurate measurement of the current helps control the quality of the weld.
APPLICATION: WELDING
-
Plasma arc welding is designed to control the arc welding process in the low current range. Plasma can improve the level of control and accuracy to achieve the following goals:
- Provide high-quality welds in micro applications or high-precision applications
- Increase production by extending the life of the electrode
Plasma arc welding requires currents between 100A and 600A. For different materials and objects to be welded, the welder must provide different currents to ensure high-quality welds. LADAR sensors can accurately measure and control the size of the plasma heating current to achieve reliable welds.
