In many applications, the grid voltage is too high or needs to be converted to DC or AC of different frequencies. Therefore, the grid voltage is converted by power electronics. Sensors ensure a stable power supply by measuring the output current.

The power supply is very important for the normal use of many applications. For example, mobile phone base stations and hospital security systems must always be available. In the event of system failure (short circuit fault, ground fault, etc.) or grid power failure, batteries or UPS systems will provide emergency power. Sensors can be used to control the charging and discharging of batteries and the switching of batteries or UPS systems.
